Victor Adegbite is a technology lawyer and compliance strategist with deep expertise in data protection law, privacy regulation, and AI governance. He advises founders, startups, and technology consultants across African and international markets — helping them build legally sound businesses that can scale with confidence.

Victor holds an LLB from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar. He has since specialised in the intersection of law and technology, earning advanced certifications as a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). This dual legal-technical foundation allows him to advise clients not just on what the law says, but on how to operationalise compliance within real technology systems.

His practice focuses on the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the rapidly evolving AI regulatory landscape. Victor has developed compliance frameworks for fintech, healthtech, edtech, and SaaS companies — navigating data residency requirements, cross-border transfer mechanisms, and regulatory reporting obligations.

Beyond client work, Victor is an active contributor to the African tech law and policy community. He participates in NITDA stakeholder consultations, speaks at regional tech conferences, and publishes regularly on emerging legal issues facing African technology businesses.
